Sustainable Futures – August 26thgreen globe

If you’ve heard a lot about sustainability but aren’t really sure what it means or how you might teach about it come to our workshop to:

  • Explore issues such as climate change, waste, water, biodiversity and consumption.
  • Think about what your students could do to create a better future.
  • Participate in a range of fun activities that could also be used in the classroom.
  • Be given resources to assist in teaching about sustainability.

Poverty Reduction – September 11thpoverty logo

In preparation for Anti-Poverty Week (October 12th – 18th) we will run a workshop where you can participate in activities that you could use in your classroom to explore issues such as:

  • What is poverty?
  • Who are the poor?
  • What are the causes and consequences of poverty?
  • How can poverty be reduced?
  • What are the Millennium Development Goals?


We’ll also look at resources to support teaching about poverty and ways that your students can help to reduce poverty.
