Are you interested in tackling the big issues but don't know where to start?

The One World Centre is running a FREE whole day Global Education workshop, especially for pre-service teachers.

Increase your knowledge of pressing global issues.
Participate in a wide range of practical activities exploring global themes: interdependence; social justice and human rights; identity and cultural diversity; peace building and conflict resolution; sustainable futures.
Work together to develop lesson plans in particular areas of interest.
Take away ideas and resources ready to use in the classroom.
Get a free membership to the One World Centre library.

We can help with:

teaching ideas linked to the WA Curriculum Framework
a flexible approach to providing Professional Development (PD)
display kits, books, discovery boxes, DVDs and other resources to borrow

free courier systems to bring resources to you and return them to the OWC. (DET schools and a limited service to Catholic schools)
