Are you interested in tackling the big issues but don't know where to start?
The One World Centre is running a FREE whole day Global Education workshop, especially for pre-service teachers.
- Increase your knowledge of pressing global issues.
- Participate in a wide range of practical activities exploring global themes: interdependence; social justice and human rights; identity and cultural diversity; peace building and conflict resolution; sustainable futures.
- Work together to develop lesson plans in particular areas of interest.
- Take away ideas and resources ready to use in the classroom.
- Get a free membership to the One World Centre library.

Want to put a global perspective into your teaching?
We can help with:
- teaching ideas linked to the WA Curriculum Framework
- a flexible approach to providing Professional Development (PD)
- display kits, books, discovery boxes, DVDs and other resources to borrow
- an online library catalogue
- free courier systems to bring resources to you and return them to the OWC. (DET schools and a limited service to Catholic schools)
