The-Crater-282x300The One World Centre and the Medical Association for Prevention of War will present a 2 hour workshop for lower secondary History Teachers

The workshop will be introduced by
BRIAN CLEAVER, featured in David Bradbury’s
recent film “The Crater – a Vietnam war story”.

Participants will:
1. Receive a digital copy of the complete set of lesson plans:
which contain rubrics, talking head videos, classroom
activities, power point presentation, assessment tasks,
web-links to primary and secondary sources.
2. Participate in practical activities suitable for the classroom.
3. Discover the links between teaching about the enduring effects of
war and the requirements of the Australian Curriculum.                                                                                        4. Discover the wide variety of resources available at the One
World Centre to assist teaching about global education.
