Global Education Teacher Grants
The OWC Global Education Grants for 2010 have been awarded. Similar grants may be available for 2011. Please check our website towards the end of 2010 for further details.
The OWC is offering Global Education Teacher Grants of up to $5,000 to teachers who are interested in undertaking Global Education projects in their classroom, school or district. These funds are available for projects taking place in Western Australia during the period December 2009 to November 2010.
Examples of possible projects:
- working as a facilitator for global education in a school or cluster of schools
- staging events such as workshops, forums or exhibitions to promote global education
- conducting professional development in a school, district office or a cluster of schools
- enabling commitment and action on a global issue among students in a school
- developing resources (print, DVD, online etc) around one of the themes of global education
